The PC Support Group has always been proud to operate from regional offices, get involved in the local community and support local businesses. We are therefore delighted that Mark Broadbent, Regional Director for Staffordshire has been elected onto the Board of Management for Stafford Chamber of Commerce.
The Chamber of Commerce plays a vital role for small businesses around the UK, being a vehicle to get problems heard by policy and decision makers by having regular dialogue with the Local Enterprise Partnership, local authorities, MPs, the Bank of England, Government Ministers, MEPs and EU Institutions.
The Board is responsible for steering policy, events and activities for the Chamber. Mark says “As a business owner I know how important it is to ensure local and national institutions consider our needs and I’m keen to represent and support all local businesses in the Stafford area via my work on the Board.”
“The PC Support Group in Stafford has grown steadily over the last few years and it’s good to be able to put something back.” he added.
Mark also believes that his expertise in IT support and technology will be of great benefit in his new role and will help ensure local businesses can gain from the huge advances being made in IT such as improved broadband, cloud technologies and 4G.
